Creating a New Audit
Ensure that the ‘ANB Audit App’ Assets Schema contains necessary data in the Object Types System_Master, Role_Master and System_Permissions_Master. If not create them manually or do a bulk CSV import.
Navigate to any Jira Software/ JSM Project
Expand the project’s Left Side menu, Click on the ‘Create Audit’ menu.
In the Create Audit Screen, provide values for all the fields.
Field | Type/ Source | Details |
---|---|---|
Audit Name | Text Field |
|
Audit System Names | Multi Select/ Service_Master schema | Lists all Services listed in Service_Master schema |
Audit Start Date | Date field |
|
Audit Due Date | Date field |
|
Audit Assignee | Single User Picker | Default value is the logged in user, it is editbale. |
Finally click ‘Submit’ to create the Audit.
Once the Audit is created, user is navigated to the ‘All Audits’ pane.
Once a new Audit is created, it would create corresponding ‘Audit Tasks’ under it for each of the Services selected for that Audit. Click the view (eye icon) for an Audit to view it’s Audit Tasks.
Eg : Since three services (Jira Service Management, Confluence, Jira Cloud) were selected in the sample Audit above, it would create three separate Audit Tasks. Refer the snip below
Audit Tasks are assigned to the Owner of the individual Service. This is defined in the Assets object ‘System_Master’
Note : Only the corresponding Service Owner has the permission to start/work on an Audit Task for his Service.
